One of the popular uses of coarse washed river sand is to mix it through the garden beds to improve drainage. The rough grains of this sand serve to break up other soils and lift the texture generally.
It is also used as concrete sand in landscaping as well as bedding for pavers or slabs. The coarse sand has a durability and sharpness in the grain, which makes for good durable compacting
