We sell only seasoned Ironbark which is supplied to us from a reputable supplier. As a member of the Firewood Association of Australia, member no. 46 we ensure that the wood you are getting is quality.
For wood to burn well the moisture content needs to be less then 25%. Our wood is tested on site once the load arrives and is generally between then 10-15% making the wood burn much hotter and for longer, also making it easier to light.
Firewood needs to be seasoned before it can be burnt to allow the wood to dry out and harden up. Freshly cut "Green" wood will not burn well and will create a lot of smoke. All of our wood has been seasoned for at least 7 years.
We deliver 6 days a week from 7am (Monday - Saturday). When placing your order please note your preferred day and time via email once order is placed. Times are as follow: 7-9, 9-12, 12-4, Morning or Afternoon. We will do our best to accommodate your requests but can not always deliver to a specific time due to the large number of orders.
We do offer a delivery service if you are unable to pick up yourself, or you just want it delivered to your home or business. We also have different vehicles we can use to deliver your order which can change the cost of delivery.
