Description
Shantana's Complete Vegetable Mix is a blend of Organic Composted Green waste and Premium Cow Manure. The product can be used for establishing or creating new garden beds and lawns. It can also be used as a surface application to both feed and mulch your garden. It is low in odour emissions, it so contains beneficial bacteria, which convert nutrients into easily accessible forms so they can be slowly released without burning tender plant roots. Adding Veggie Mix to your garden beds is an effective way to improve the structure and fertility of your soil.
This mixture should be potted or spread to a depth of 100-150 mm. It is recommended that most vegetables be grown from seed, however punnets bought from local nurseries, contain roots that have already been established. With the spreading of mulch over the top of pots & beds, it allows the soil to remain warm, looks nice and prevents weeds from growing. When rejuvenating depleted soils we recommend applying it at up to 40mm deep each year around your plants and garden.
As with all soils we sell here at Shantana this product is tested to check for any potential contaminants and also to ensure the correct ph level amongst other levels. Please note due to the use of composted greenwaste from time to time small plastic pieces will slip through the screening process, this in no way effects the product and we all know the plastic will not break down
