Description
Our Deco Red Decomposed Granite is primarily used for driveways, parking areas, and high-traffic paths. The coarse granite particles naturally bond together to form a strong, stable surface. For even greater strength and longevity, it can be stabilised by mixing with off-white cement.
As a general guide: • Pedestrian traffic: minimum 4% cement (40 kg off-white cement per tonne of granite) • Vehicle traffic: minimum 8% cement (80 kg off-white cement per tonne of granite)
Once mixed correctly and spread evenly, compact thoroughly with a plate compactor until smooth and level. When installed properly, Deco Red creates a beautiful, durable surface that looks great while remaining permeable and low-maintenance.
