1. Intended Use

Our products are sold for their normal and intended use in landscaping, gardening, and building applications. It is your responsibility to ensure that any product you purchase is suitable for your specific project and site conditions.

2. Customer Responsibilities

You acknowledge and agree that:

The results obtained from using our products depend largely on correct selection, storage, preparation and application.

You will follow normal and accepted landscaping, gardening or building practices and guidelines.

You are responsible for verifying product suitability for your intended purpose (including soil type, drainage, climate, load-bearing requirements, and compliance with any building codes or regulations).

You will store products correctly and use them within a reasonable time after delivery.

You will not alter the composition of any product after it leaves our premises (for example, by adding other materials or contaminants).

3. Limitation of Liability – Product Use

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shantana Landscape & Building Supplies and its employees or agents will not be liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense (including indirect or consequential loss) arising from:

Failure to use products correctly or in accordance with normal practices

Use of products for a purpose for which they were not intended or suitable

Alteration or contamination of products after delivery

Site-specific factors, weather conditions, poor preparation, or incorrect installation/application

Natural variations in bulk materials (colour, texture, particle size, moisture content, etc.)

We strongly recommend consulting a qualified professional (e.g. landscaper, engineer or horticulturist) for advice specific to your project where required.

4. Natural and Bulk Materials

Bulk and natural products (soils, mulches, gravels, sands, etc.) are subject to natural variations. Minor differences in appearance, moisture content or particle size between batches are normal and do not constitute a defect.

5. Safety and Handling

You are responsible for the safe handling, storage and use of all products. Some materials may be heavy, dusty or contain allergens. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) should be used. Refer to any product information or Safety Data Sheets (where available) for specific handling instructions.

6. Product Information and Advice

Any advice, recommendations or information provided by us (in person, by phone, email or on our website) is given in good faith based on the information available to us at the time. It does not constitute a guarantee of suitability for your specific circumstances. You should independently verify all information before use.
